Vegetables high in Oxalates inflame your stomach and make your carbs addiction
worse and also more difficult to get rid of.
Oxalates that you are not addicted to - avoid the worst, limit the rest.
- Spinach - the worst
- Rhubarb - the worst
- Swiss Chard - the worst
- Beets - the worst
- Okra - very bad
- Buckwheat - very bad
- Turnips - very bad
- Kale
- Figs
- Kiwi
- Blackberries and Raspberries
- Miso
- Black Pepper, Cumin, Turmeric
- Peanuts, Almonds, Cashews
- Soy and all soy derivatives such as Tofu
Oxalates that you may be addicted to.
- Regular Potatoes - try to eat no more than 2 or 3 times a week.
- Grains - particularly Whole Grains. Eat only to the extent you are addicted.
Oxalates to continue to eat.
- Beans and Lentils. You are probably not eating a lot of beans and lentils. Continue
to eat them, but ideally limit to 2 or 3 times a week.
- Sweet Potato - try to eat no more than 2 or 3 times a week.
- Dark Chocolate - much better than any sugary garbage alternatives people would be
eating otherwise.
