Nightshade vegetables are - potato (but not sweet potato), tomato and
any red sauce, all peppers (but not black pepper), red spices, eggplant.
It is OK to continue to eat potato maybe 2 or 3 times a week, but please avoid
the rest as much as possible. But you can still continue to occasionally get
nightshades as part of restaurant meals.
Nightshade vegetables are one of the main contributing factors for a
large percentage of people as to why
their stomach is always inflamed. That is very harmful in itself,
but that is particularly harmful when you add excess carbs and seed oils.
Eating nightshades can also literally create carbs and food cravings -
your stomach feels upset, and you intuitivery want to eat to "tame"
that upset feeling.
You are also not addicted to nightshades, except for potatoes.
Try to substitute potatoes with
sweet potatoes (and sweet potato fries), yuca (cassava), taro, and green plantains as
often as possible.
You will be 100% fine not eating a lot of nightshades for the rest
of your life. People outside Americas did not eat potato and tomato
in any meaningful amounts until just a couple of hundred years ago.
They did just fine.
